PURPOSE Heir Force Academy was established by Kern Christian Center as a service to the families and children of our church and our community. This service has been developed from a sincere love for children and a desire to help promote proper development and adjustment in today's world. The program at Heir Force Academy Preschool will provide a Christian educational experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere caring for children from 2 years to 6 years of age. In recognition of the importance of balanced growth, Heir Force Academy Preschool provides opportunities for the social, mental, physical and spiritual development of each child. MISSION STATEMENT Heir Force Academy Preschool exists as a ministry of Kern Christian Center to glorify God by providing a Biblically integrated curriculum that meets the spiritual, academic, emotional, physical and social needs of each student. The mission of Heir Force Academy is to develop, nurture and equip the children to positively impact the world for Jesus Christ. FOCUS AND GOALS The focus of the Heir Force Academy program is to assist children and families in strengthening positive values and developing a balance of physical, mental, and spiritual health. To achieve this focus, the program staff and volunteers have adopted the following goals: Develop a facility and staff that ensures a safe, supportive and caring environment. Create an organized curriculum that addresses the physical, mental and spiritual and social development of each child in a balanced, age-appropriate setting. Involve families in program activities, planning, and evaluation as much as possible.
